The Problem

This was a university brief to create a publication based on an element of focus throughout the first term. As we had visited The British Museum, I decided to create a piece quantifying the artefacts held within the first room.

The Solution

I focused my publication on the beauty of the infographic, and the ways in which we can quantify a space. Taking each individual area within the room and creating a series of infographic pieces that illustrated the items within the collection. Crossover areas of origin, languages shared, and materials cultivated. The work was to be viewed similarly to that of technical papers or manuscripts, beautiful, factual documents which aid in the comprehension of a particular topic. These pages were to focus on expressing movement, without reliance on colour.
